  • This cafe can basically be summarized as a Japanese style tea house with a western twist with organic products. A Starbucks for tea, if you will. They have loose organic teas (but they don't sell it bulk...I would totally buy it if they did) and they also have more western-y treats like matcha smoothies. The location is quiet even when it's pretty full.

Koots is one of the first, and is the only tea franchise I know.   • If you find yourself thirsty near the Meiji shrine, you might want to check out Koots Green Tea. Personally, I get a bang out of the name because it reminds me of being “in cahoots.” In any case, though it's a corporate restaurant, it's still worth a look.
