Boundless towels!
Our "Tenugui" lineup pays homage to the classics but also takes a step beyond tradition and features contemporary designs.
"Tenugui" are small Japanese multi-purpose towels that are not unlike a hand towel in size. We feature fourteen different patterns with written words, such as "I'm a little tea pot," and "twinkle twinkle little star."

- Original Obi
Our cues came from New York, Hong Kong, Dublin and Florence. A regular customer who is a native of New York but lives in Tokyo mentioned to us that she loves the summer festival clothing, but that tying the obi -- the belt that goes around a kimono or yukata -- is quite challenging.
Later on we found ourselves admiring the products of Shanghai Tang during a trip to Hong Kong. They strike a remarkable balance between casual clothing infused with a Chinese touch. Similarly, we found in Dublin clothing that blended seamlessly the traditional checkered pattern of a kilt with a t-shirt in the colors of Ireland's rugby team(green of course!). We finally found our inspiration in Florence at Leonardo Da Vinci's art museum and stone sculptures. Our final product is an Obi that can be tied in two-three minutes even by people with little experience, and which is comfortable enough to sit down on a chair or drive a car. Even more, it combines beautifully with Western clothing!
- We have a great selection of jinbei, onsen yukata and winter jackets in kid sizes. You'll be able to find something for every season, and our customers from around the world have found a Japanese present for their little ones!
