Bo Concept is a global furniture chain based out of Denmark with outlets in more than 30 countries. Japan alone has more than 20 stores that span from Hokkaido to Fukuoka.
Two things make Bo Concept stand out from the crowd in my mind: First, the design is contemporary without being too edgy. What I mean is that some contemporary furniture looks great but feels too sterile to live in it. For example, some modern kitchens have embraced stainless steel to the point where I feel I might as well be in a hotel's kitchen. Similarly, some living room designs are beautiful but I couldn't imagine a family sharing that space. In contrast, Bo Concept's furniture feels modern but it's still a couch that you would want to jump on.
Second, they are very flexible about their products. They encourage their customers to customize their purchases and pick from a wide variety of colours, textures and materials to find their perfect match. Furthermore, you can download a useful piece of software from their website called “Furnish” in which you can load up your room's dimensions and play with their catalogue and see what fits best.
The staff is knowledgeable and ready to assist anyone with their purchases. I'd highly recommend taking a look at Bo Concept's offerings if planning to buy furniture.
