Daiso Harajuku is located at the heart of Takeshita dori, the busiest street in Harajaku. The store, one of Daiso’s largest, sells merchandise across four levels. You will see fellow foreigners and tons of Japanese flocking to the store for the broad selection of 100 yen merchandise.

  • This place is huge and has everything! I drop by everytime I got to Harajuku. Everything from toques to food to pens and pencils!

  • I love this Daiso. I always do some souvenir shopping for home whenever I come here. The last time I visited the upper level had mostly craft supplies and the bottom had mostly housewares. In the basement they have a sticker photo booth, though they might have taken it out since I last visited.   • Daiso is the best 100 yen shop in Japan by a long shot. I know a guy who fitted out his entire kitchen for less than 10,000 yen, with nice looking dishes too.   • This Daiso isn't bad, per say, but there are better stocked and more interesting Daiso stores in and around the city. Try the massive behemoth in Harajuku. Or, if your in the area, the Daiso near Myoden station is small but has great prices for things that are 10 times as much elsewhere.

  • I have been to my share of 100 yen stores but I think that this one has the best quality products... this isn't to say that it is high quality, but it's better than the norm.   • 100 yen shops are essentially the same as American dollar stores, just cheaper since 100 yen is little less than a dollar. Daiso was a smaller 100 yen shop but in no means small.
