Having visited many traditional Japanese language schools with their 5 day a week regime and price tag to match I was plesantly surprised at Azabudai. The lessons are divided into levels 1 through to 6 and are basically 2 days per week 2 hour lessons per session. This pace allowed me to carry on with the other important things in my life (kids) whilst still enjoying going to school.
The classrooms are twice as big as any of the other postage stamp schools I seen and the whole course per term costs about 30,000 which is significantly cheaper than other schools. The teachers are energetic and imaginative, and importantly, the whole class is conducted in Japanese. Having gradually moved up through all 6 levels I have become fearless in speaking outside. I have met many good friends through Azabudai and would thouroughly recommend it to anyone who might not manage the 15 Kanji a night pace at Nakamura.
