Situated in great place for foreigner but last time i brought TOSHIBA SATELLITE PSLB8U from this store. A new one but have a lots of problems in 1 week i have to go for 3 times for maintenance. I am not satisfied by this shop and i decided not to shop from now in this shop..
This is a great little gem of a store tucked away not too far from the main central exit. What first attracted me was the extensive range of used goods and discount items. If your looking for a cheap P.C. with English O.S. and keyboard you’re definitely in the right place because here you’ll find a great range of good condition albeit used P.C.s cameras, and a selection of hardware components too. Anything from LAN cards to graphics to USB devices and more. It’s pretty much all on special offer, but probably all in good working order. It’s not junk, but I wouldn’t think you’ll be getting anything more than a 1 or 3 month warrantee on any of these items which is pretty standard for used electronics in Japan.
In particular you’ll find an interesting range of GSM phones, though most of which don’t work in Japan. Most importantly there’s an excellent selection of English software which in my experience can be pretty hard to come by in Japan. Everything from all Windows O/S versions, anti-virus, burning software, and various applications. I didn’t have much word with the staff, but I can tell you that most of them don’t look Japanese so you shouldn’t have any problems with the English here. Generally speaking this is not such a large store, but since it’s catered for those on a budget, it doesn’t attract the mass following that the big flagship stores do, so I was more comfortable browsing without the constant nagging and wining of shop assistants and passers by. Be sure that if you buy any used laptops check about what’s what especially the battery life which can be notoriously low on older models. Also check for damage and see what sort of warrantee you can get.
