Ryogoku Kokkugikan is where the sumo grand tournaments take place in Tokyo. There are three tournaments per year, which happen in January, May and September. Tickets can be bought a month in advance, and the tournament lasts two weeks. The stadium has a cafeteria where you can sample "chanko-nabe," which is the food that sumo wrestlers eat, and there's also a small museum.
