Monaka is a Japanese sweet made from azuki beans and a pastry of mochi. The Monaka at Kuuya is the most popular in Japan, and difficult to get unless you make a reservation. Surprisingly, this famed sweet can be had for 100yen each! Call ahead, English is available, and you'll enjoy a coveted Japanese sweet.
