Fujikyu Highland has some of the scariest rides in Japan. The most popular is Fujiyama, a roller coaster that drops from 79 meters high and reaches 130 km/h. Do-Dom-Pa is also a popular free fall attraction that reaches 172 km/h in 1.8 seconds. This is a must for roller coaster fans.

  • This place is too much fun. Located near the base of Mt Fuji, Fuji-Q Highland has some of the wildest roller coasters in the world. There are two ways to get to here, either by bus or train. You can take a bus from shinjuku station to Fuji-Q which takes 100 mins, or go on train using the chuo line from shinjuku to otsuki station, you will have to change trains along the way which can be confusing.... Read More

  • Here it is. The best amusement park I've ever been ! Before I start I have to warn you, there's always a lot of people there. The best is to take the JR in the very morning and go on Kawaguchiko to see Mt Fuji and after run to the park.
