The National Museum of Nature and Science introduces everything from the moment life began on Earth and the evolution of plants, animals, and humans to developments in science and technology. It is the only museum which integrates all branches of science in the country. One of their highlights is a display of an example of a full-length 18m Apatosaurus (Brontosaurus) exoskeleton. The National Museum of Nature and Science is in Ueno Park.

  • Yeah, I didn't enjoy this one. I came to see dinosaurs bones in fact and there's not so much. Most everything is in Japanese and it's hard to understand what you deal with. It's okay for the wildlife and paleontologic stuff but with the science it's understandable... Still it's a place to go with child to show them all the periods of the Earth.
