Mount Beer Takao 高尾山ビアマウント Beer Gardens / Hachioji

A little far from the city, but beautiful views at this beer garden located at the top of Mount Takao. During beer garden season, the cable car stops later in the evening so you can enjoy the beers without worrying about how to get down the mountain. An all-you-can-drink-and-eat package costs 3,000 yen for women, and 3,300 yen for men, but you can order a-la-carte as well. Open from July 1 to September 30, 2009. To get there, take the Keio line to Takaosan-guchi station, and transfer to the Takao Mountain Cablecar to Takaosan Station (or you could climb, which takes about 1.5 hours).
