I always visit Hub before 7pm to enjoy happy hour, which all drinks are half priced. The place isn't bad, but nothing special. I like just sitting on a table with my friends and watch sports played on the screens. The service is good. A staff always checks around the seats to clear empty glasses. English menus were available and I saw many foreigners enjoying a drink.

OK, but watch out for the Turks in the front room. They're there most nights and will steal your girlfriend right in front of you. They'll also forbid you from talking to any girl they have spoken to in the last 5 years who there too. They don't drink much as they're Muslim and the staff are pretty scared of them. Had a really good time here and plan on coming back in the future. The drinks are alot cheaper than some places I was running into. (1500 Y for a rum and coke, wtf?!) Good atmosphere and met some cool people and the place had a good vibe to it. Definitely recommend!

The Hub is home to some of my best times here in Japan... The food is great (i am addicted to the lamb kabobs), and for 1000Y you can get a liter beer... If you think you are an unbeatable drinker and have the tolerence of a pirate then try the Guantlet... Bring only 10000Y and no credit cards... Sure it is really tacky but still alot of fun

This has to be one of the most messed up places to go drink. A British Pub owned entirely by Japanese. Here in Sakae in Nagoya they don't even speak English and most of your clients are foreigners. All hail 1300 yen liters of beer. Like every other Hub in Tokyo, don't forget your point card. Fairly typical Japanese attempt of recreating a British pub. But it is an excellent place to stop in if you want a free lesson in English slang. It's also a pretty good place to find an English teacher, as the foreigners who don't work in English schools can afford better hangouts in Roppongi.
