Apollo brings a new twist to the "New Half" genre of nightlife: it's an entertainment bar staffed by transgendered men, called "Onabe". Born female and living as men, the Onabe are incredibly convinving, looking, dressing and acting like men, some even sporting facial hair and surgically flattened chests.

Throughout most of the night the Onabe act as hosts, chatting with customers and serving food and drinks. Twice a night the lights are turned down and the men disappear, reappearing on the stage for showtime. Customers are treated to several dynamic dance numbers ranging from dramatic performances to bawdy comedy. And then they return to their customers, a mix of men and women, most coming in jovial groups.

A full menu of Italian-inspired food is available, along with a good selection of cocktails, shochu, whiskey and other drinks, with the all-you-can-drink option to keep the beverages flowing.

Apollo is definitely one of the most interesting forms of entertainment you'll find.

  • What is an Onabe?
    We are transgendered men, born as women but living as men. Okama(transgendered women) is the antonym for Onabe -- in our world we use these words to differentiate the "New Half" genders. We like females but are different from regular lesbians, in that we actually strive to be male, and as a male we fall in love with females.

    There are many types of Onabes, just the same with regular people. At our club, you will be able to see and enjoy the diverse personalities of our Onabes.

    The world of Onabe is still fun of wonders, so come to our club and enjoy it!
