On a road opposite Ark Hills on the way to Roppongi, you can find this hamburger and sandwich shop. The inside of the shop has an impressive white and blue motif, and a simple interior design. For a total of 1000 yen you can eat their famous flame broiled hamburger pate (Japanese-style meatloaf). When they get orders for fries, they fry up just enough for the number of orders, so your fries are always fresh and crispy. This restaurant also has take-out options.

  • Very friendly service and reasonable prices, but the patties are thin and thus are necessarily overcooked. Worth trying if you're close by, but if you're a "thick patty person" who prefers having a burger medium or medium-rare, I wouldn't make a special trip just to sample the grub at Authentic. Try nearby West Park Cafe.

  • When I lived in HK and the USA, I always felt uncomfortable with Japanese restaurants there because those restaurants usually changed their taste to fit into the local's tongue.
