  • Dean and Deluca is an American chain of up-scale grocery stores first established in New York. Dean and Deluca is a beautifully presented coffee shop and grocery where it's even fun just to 'window-shop' the food. The coffee is great quality, the baristas there know what they're doing and they offer the usual range of coffee and teas, no fancy frappucinos here. Great place to study or grab a quick... Read More

  • Dean & of the things I do like about this place is that all of their products are base-line natural. Take the lemonade for concentrate...actual lemons, natural mineral and sparkling water, with a bit of gum syrup. Even though it's a little pricey, it is definitely well worth it. And let's be honest, if you've made the trip out to the immigration office you deserve to g... Read More

  • Best coffee in Tokyo
  • (2008-01-04)
  • Having traveled extensively all over the world, I expect one thing in each city. A good cup of coffee! Everyone has their opinions of Starbucks and other mass market chains. However, Dean & Deluca - with 7 out of 8 of their international stores in Japan - gets my vote for best coffee in Tokyo. Most staff understand English, and get my latte with skim milk order dead on. • Dean and Deluca: Roppongi

  • Delicious sweets and cheeses but at a hefty price. Don't miss out on the delicious macaroons made by la mama...heavenly, melt-in-your-mouth, treats. The quiche and pastas are satisfactory when you want to take a rest from cooking...almost as good as home-cooking but not quite there.

  • Quite different then Dean & Deluca's back home in NYC, but it was nice to the the Japanese twist on things. Great selections for gifts/omiyage. And if you're looking for some good cooking oils, spices, or wines you can stock up here as well.

  • I never thought that a Dean&Deluca would be in Japan. I have been missing it so much! I stumbled upon it in Roppongi and was very excited. This Dean&Deluca is even bigger than the one I'm used to going to in DC! They also have a cafe and tables to sit down it. It's definitely a great little spot if you're missing home.
