Chef de Cuisine Toru Kawano left at the age of 25 for France, where he worked with some of the biggest names in French cooking such as Guy Savoy. He was an apprentice of French mastermind Joel Robuchon and worked at Joel Robuchon's Taillevent restaurant in Tokyo for four years before opening his own restaurant in Ebisu.
