Divided into a main dining room, glass enclosed terrace and a open terrace it is capable of special events, such as weddings or large parties. Tuscan cuisine is served along with a selection of Italian wines. Enjoy the handmade pastas and breads baked on site. The staff is very helpful and regular jazz performances by Andrea Hopkins add to the atmosphere. An English menu is also available.

Il Buttero is situated in a lane just off the Hiroo shopping street. It in a old house with a lovely tree outside. The food is your basic Italian and the attitude from the partially Italian staff is a bit macho, but basically it's a place for a good not too sophisticated Italian feed. http://tokyoeater.blogspot.com/2007/11/il-buttero-hiroo.html
