Owned by Salvadore Cuomo, Pizza Salvatore Cuomo introduced Napolitan Pizza to Tokyo. The restaurant is very spacious, and since the kitchen is open, it's fun to watch the chefs. The lunch buffet costs 1500 yen, and has a variety of different items, including pasta, salad and pizza. As the name suggests, pizza is this restaurant's most popular item. The restaurant is often crowded, so it pays to make a reservation.

  • This buffet is only just alright

  • It's a decent buffet, but having made the trip once to check it out, I won't be coming back again. The food is only alright, and it gets picked over very quickly (to say nothing of the hour-long wait to get in).

  • Given that I am no longer the rail-thin youngster I once was, I tend to shy away from the Las Vegas-style all-you-can-eat-type places in order to satisfy my hunger nowadays. However, before my Japanese class upstairs in this Shinjuku building outlet, I decided to give this place a try. The very reasonably priced 1,500yen lunch buffet is tastefully laid out on the bar counter, with an assortm... Read More

  • The pizza is good, there's no doubt about that. Other than that, this place doesn't feel much different than your regular off-the-mill Italian place in Japan. The service was perfect and I loved how attentive my waitress was (as opposed to hurting my tonsils shouting sumimasen across a busy izakaya), but there's still something that throws me off when an Italian restaurant decides to shout all... Read More

  • This pizzeria is different than most in Japan, it serves good pizza. Underneath the streets of Shinjuku in an underground shopping center Pizza Salvatore stands out among the rest. It is a modern looking restaurant that serves bricked oven cooked pizza that is delicious. The menu had English titles, but there were no English explanations. The atmosphere was very relaxed, and on a Friday night it s... Read More

  • The food here is very good. If only this place were a little less expensive or if they were to give you more for your money, it would be just about perfect for my needs. Strongly recommended.
