Kakoi Ya: Ikebukuro
This is a Japanese-style izakaya with an unmistakable, Japanese-style interior. The restaurant features 25 small rooms for patrons to dine in, giving the restaurant a distinctive feeling from the Showa Era. They can seat anywhere from couples to groups of 60 people. You can try one of the many dishes served here, such as horse meat (shipped fresh, directly from Kumamoto Prefecture), sashimi, grilled fish, steamed pork and chicken, along with many different types of sake and shochu. Their wide variety of plum wine is rather popular with women.
