Kibai Yanse きばいやんせ Izakaya / Omotesando, Aoyama

Kirishima Jidorikibaiyanse specializes in local dishes from Miyazaki, a prefecture on the southern side of Kyushu. It also boasts an extensive stock of shochu, which includes any variety of Japanese distilled white liquor and is extremely popular on that southern island. It's located a 10minute walk from both Gaienmae station and Harajuku station, and slightly out of the way. The tiny restaurant only seats about ten at the counter and has two tables that supposedly seat four, but are really suited for maybe two or three. The menu celebrates the tastes of Miyazaki, and many people originating from Kagoshima and Miyazaki prefectures frequent this izakaya to relieve their stomach's homesickness. The "tori-sashimi" (chicken sashimi) and "momo-yaki" (grilled thigh) are their signature dishes and definitely worth a try.
