Rakusyun Dining Zaian Bekkan
If you walk a little ways down Street 254, near Ikebukuro Station, you’ll find this izakaya in the first floor basement of a building on the left side of the street. Their selection of sake is especially broad, and you can even try some that are rare, top grade varieties. But, in reality, it’s not the sake that makes this place impressive; what’s really caught our attention is the fact that this is a restaurant where you can taste authentic soba. In addition to steamed soba, you can have Shisen Tantan Soba, Natto Soba, and other rare dishes on their soba menu. For dinner, there are a variety of side dishes that go well with sake, such as sashimi, tamago-yaki, and other things like that. It’s a perfect place to gather with friends or colleagues.
