A little on the pricey side for bread and soup, Soup Stock Tokyo is a quick and easy spot for someone wanting lunch on the go. Though the ingredients are extremely fresh which shows in the quality of the bread and soup the prices verge on the extravagant considering you can get a larger and more filling meal in Tokyo for far less. This place is great if you're looking for something that's light and tasty.
It was One of Those Days. It was wet and rainy, and even when inside a thundercloud lurked over my head. I ducked into the Atre building at lunch time and went to Soup Stock: Tokyo, and my day just melted away.
I ordered the 900 Yen 2 Soup Set, which came with two soups of my choosing and a bowl of rice. I got the Italian Minestrone and the Tokyo Bowl. They were piping hot and delicious. There was also an option to get a large bowl of curry and a soup, which also looked appealing. Even though it was somewhat full at lunch, I was able to nab myself a seat at the counter, put my headphones in, and eat in peace. I left feeling full and happy. This soup was the perfect comfort food on a rainy day.
