Located a three minute walk from the number 3 exit of Hiroo station, the interior of this Mediterranean restaurant is chic and stylish without being overly formal. Dim lighting and candles produce a relaxing atmosphere in this spacious spot. In addition the service is friendly and many of the waiters speak fluent English.

  • After dining at Cicada, I am assuming my friends and I have earned our Desperate Housewives Point Card. What else is there to say about a terrific restaurant? Whether you are new to town or a veteran or craving good food, Cicada should be on your short list for eats. Don't miss the hummus or the tagine if it's on the menu! http://lostinrelocation.wordpress.com

  • A good place to go with the girls or as Dominic mentioned, the Desperate-housewive-types LOL...you will however see other demographics. It is a stylish place that offers delicious tapas. I wouldn't go here for a special occasion but it is suitable for upscale, casual dining.

  • Owned and operated by the same company that owns T.Y, Harbor, Cicada is a delightful dining experience. While lunch can be done on a budget, dinner is a little more pricey, but worth the expense. Frequented by Tokyo's financial elite and serious recruiters, it has a great wine selection and delectable desserts. Service is top-notch and staff is bilingual. With a rotating menu, it is always a r... Read More

  • Cicada is the place to see the gaijin 30-something "desperate housewives" as there is guaranteed to be at least one group there every time you visit. Apart from the people watching, the food is very good Tapas style and it's a great place for lunch or dinner. http://tokyoeater.blogspot.com/2007/11/cicada-nishi-azabu.html
