If you walk from Shibuya Station along Bunkamura Avenue for about 5 minutes, you’ll find a ramen shop on your right hand side. The exterior of the shop catches the eye with its extensive use of wood. It’s a small, counter-only shop, but it has a layout that makes efficient use of a narrow space, so it feels a lot bigger than it actually is. Through use of bright lighting, the shop has a clean atmosphere that even the most finicky wouldn’t mind entering. Hokkaido konbu seaweed, Tonkotsu, and vegetables are carefully simmered together for close to two days to make their soup base, giving it body and a reputation of being habit-forming in its deliciousness. To order, buy the appropriate meal ticket (from the ticket machine) and give it to a clerk.
