Matsuzaka's specialty is domestically-raised beef, which can be enjoyed in yakiniku, shabu-shabu or steak form. Located in a quiet spot off Hitotsuki street, the crowds are big for their lunch specials when you can grill your own beef for approximately 1,000 yen. Best avoided around 12.30pm when getting a seat might become a challenge. Matsuzaka also has seven private rooms for parties in addition to the regular seating areas.

Matzuzaka is located under an architecture firm on an Akasakan side street, 5 minutes from Akasaka-Mitsuke station. It's tastefully decorated in staid tones and bamboo trees. In the shadow of the large TBS is a beautiful yakiniku restaurant called Matsuzaka. This is a more upscale restaurant but at lunch it is quite cheap.
