The rice at Luchia is shelled fresh every morning, and the seafood is shipped from the fishermen directly to the kitchen. This new style of Japanese restaurant uses a wood-based modern decoration to make you feel right at home at any of its counter seats, tables, or private rooms that seat up to 14. Popular lunch items include the creative signature dish of "foi grois anago-don" (rice topped with eel), and "shinkaidon" (rice topped with fresh sashimi). For dinner, try one of the course menus (5250yen, 6825yen) that allow you to enjoy everything from sashimi to tempura. Luchia also offers an extensive list of beer, wine, shochu, local sake, and other alcoholic beverages, making it the perfect location to entertain guests or host parties.

It was raining, and coming down the stairs to an entrance flanked with white pebbles, a couple of se... Read More
