1 Review
Unique, off-the-beaten-track Thai restaurant smack in the middle of the epicentre of Japan's Korean boom, Shin Okubo. This modest restaurant serves a unique menu of Thai favourites
with a Malay influence, courtesy of the Muslim owners who are Thai-Malay. A warm camaraderie exists between the proprietor, a kindly middle aged lady who has been in Tokyo for 20 years, the southeast Asian shop owners in the vicinity, and the internationally-traveled Japanese salarymen regulars who come here to unbutton their collars and relax. The deserts are the best of the Thai variety you'll find in Tokyo, and reasonably priced. If you're looking for a place away from the usual strictures of dining out in Japan, and a taste of genuine Thai dining, this is where you want to be.
