Tinun is a famous Thai restaurant one minute away from Omotesando station. The interior is finished in a calming brown, and you can savor your meal peacefully. For lunch, you can enjoy a main dish of your choice, and side dishes, soup, curry and salad come all-you-can-eat, all for 900yen. This great deal is very popular and a line forms quickly, so we recommend going early. For dinner, the Tinun original tom yam ramen, curry, and side dishes go very well drinks.

I'm a picky eater (or drinker) when it comes to soups. I rarely order them, and when I do I'm generally disappointed-I prefer my food in the solid state better. I got a bowl of noodles (I think I ended up ordering Pad Thai, or at least something similar) and it was absolutely wonderful. It was delightfully spicy and seemed to be pretty authentically Thai food. I was really pleased with what I got, and the price of my bowl was really reasonable (under 1000Yen). Go if you have a craving for spicy Thai food.

Tinun Ikebukuro delivers predictable and slightly bland food in a nice room. The coconut milk chicken soup (tom ka gai -- 1050 yen) was filling, but inexplicably loaded with inedible lemongrass more than anything else(you shouldn't eat it!).
