The Tokyo Michelin Guide 2009 awarded Hamadaya three stars, recognizing it as one of the absolute best in the world. Dating back to 1912, Hamadaya serves traditional Japanese food in a Sukiya-style building with great historical value as one of the few that are still intact. There's 11 private rooms available, each with their own garden. The food changes with the seasons, and can be ordered a la carte. Kabuki and Shamisen entertainment by Geishas is available.
