On the busy, giggling Takeshita you can find the stairwell leading down into this udon shop. The food isserved cafeteria style, you choose what broth you want and are handed the bowl and can then pick out your own tempura toppings or onigiri on the side. There is even udon served in hot water for a mere 105 yen. There is soy sauce on the table so you can feasibly make this into a meal. The udon was hot and delicious and costs were very low. There is a small picture menu but the main menu is only in Japanese, with no pictures.
