Omotesando Hills is a luxurious shopping mall and residential space in Aoyama. Tadao Ando is the architect, who is best known for his use of natural light and because the buildings adapt to the landscape seamlessly. Local residents were first concerned that his style was too modern for the area, but the shopping center is now a landmark of Omotesando. He is a recipient of the Pritzker prize.

  • High luxury goods and esthetically pleasing to the eye but....it seems to lack energy..at least the times that we have been there. With the exception of visiting one of the many restaurants on the top floor in the evening, it is usually quite empty. The dim lighting doesn't help either.

  • Very luxurious. Shopping, fashion, night life... the same basic ingredients for any popular spot in Tokyo. But this one is special because all the stuff is really expensive. Trust me. That makes it better. All of the beautiful people everywhere make this a visually pleasing experience, too. Store displays are more like art so you can at least appreciate the gorgeous things the stores know yo... Read More

  • There are some interesting stores in this Mall. There is a wine shop in the basement which has an automatic wine dispenser (by the glass if you have a member's card). There is a jewelry shop which is by invitation only, and there is a great shop with a cactus garden and all sorts of stylish collectables. called forbidden Fruit. To get in, you have to enter from the street, not the mall itself. ... Read More

  • It used to be Aoyama apartment but now become Omotesando Hills ! I'd prefer Omotesando Hills compared with Roppongi hills, it is much smaller though but it has more character in it , I think! Range of shops are good, some are brand shop and some are highstreet shop, so well mixed of both! They have HARRY WINSTON and look fab though I have not been there. (the door is closed so you may ask them ... Read More

  • Omotesando Hills is the jewel in Omotesando for me. You have the "Champs-Elysées" like in France, it's a street with a lot of famous brands. In OmoteSando you see the luxury and even more when you go on this shopping mall. Roppongi Hills is less hype than Omotesando, here it's real luxury. The shopping mall have his own design and sometimes you don't know if you went here or not. ^^' Ye... Read More
