  • Had afternoon tea here and the food was excellent and service discreet. Because I went by myself, they brought over a choice of magazine or newspaper to read. I thought that was a really nice touch.

  • My Japanese teacher and I frequent The Peninsula for tea and lunch. The prices are reasonable and the service is satisfactory (I did have to complain one time when we were not seated immediately-when there were many tables available). The food is delicious as well.
